Responsibilities
Prepare business and individual income tax returns under senior guidance
Support accounting engagements: GL maintenance, reconciliations, workpapers
Research basic tax/accounting issues and draft clear, accurate documentation
Join client meetings to gather data, analyze issues, and handle follow-ups
Collaborate on process improvements and firm best practices
Progress toward your CPA —with exam fee reimbursement and paid study support
Grow through mentorship, training, and exposure to diverse industries and clients
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance
~ 2+ years at a small/mid-size public accounting firm (internships count) with tax prep focus
Strong attention to detail, curiosity, and a willingness to learn
Solid grasp of tax fundamentals and quality workpaper habits
Comfortable with Excel and tax/accounting software (QuickBooks, Lacerte/ProSystem/Similar a plus)
Clear communicator with a collaborative, client-first mindset
A motivated self-starter who can juggle a variety of responsibilities
