Finance & Business Management - Vice President - Home Lending Operations

Responsibilities
Own and oversee associates preparing headcount and expense forecasts for multiple departments in Home Lending Operations
Manage capacity planning: tracking productivity drivers in operations functions, calculating required headcount based on forecasted loan volumes, leading meetings with department leaders to understand these drivers and plan for headcount changes
Review monthly reviews prepared by associates, and present to department leaders, covering changes in finance and capacity plan; provide variance analysis in monthly financial reporting - explaining why actual expenses and headcount vary from budget forecast
Manage small number of US and international employees
Present to senior business leaders, including the Home Lending Operations CFO, CEO, Managers, Directors, and other Ops department leaders
Ability to manage projects independently, lead meetings with associates, and delegate project steps to team members
Build business cases (NPV, IRR, Capex Analysis) to understand the trade-offs between different investment opportunities
Leverage AI/LLM (Large Language Models, similar to ChatGPT) to improve the team's monthly tasks and enhance efficiency
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Economics, or other related area
5+ years of experience in Financial Analysis, Accounting, Business Reporting, or Related Field
Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills (advanced formulas)
Dashboard and data visualization skills (Microsoft Power BI, Tableau, Thoughtspot)
Intermediate skill with Enterprise Financial Software and Finance Excel Retrieves (e.g. Dodeca Essbase)
Ability to prepare professional finance PowerPoint presentations for monthly finance reviews
Intermediate MS Office Proficiency - Outlook, Word, OneNote, PowerPoint
Preferred
Master's in Business Administration
Experience in Corporate FPA (Financial Planning and Analysis)
Experience presenting to and leading meetings with senior or C-level business leaders
Excel Macros and VBA Literacy
Ability to build Alteryx workflows to synthesize and prepare large data sets for analysis
