Responsibilities
Prepare and/or review written communications and technical deliverables
Demonstrate and apply technical competence, knowledge of codes and regulations, and professional standard of practice to assigned tasks
Leverage understanding of technical scopes of work for assigned work and their alignment with overall project objectives to deliver quality assignments
Coach, mentor, and direct junior staff to ensure high-quality execution of project tasks, including field activities and preparation of technical reports and deliverables, while facilitating knowledge transfer for team development
Use developing skills to be visible in your discipline by giving internal technical presentations and/or conference presentations and attending external networking events
Lead field programs, construction, and remedial system operation, maintenance, and monitoring tasks
Lead environmental data and technical evaluation and reporting tasks
Lead remedial action development, feasibility studies, cost estimating and permitting tasks
Plan and perform all work in accordance with company and client health and safety protocols
Demonstrate the company’s foundational safety behaviors
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering or related field
6+ years of related consulting experience in California
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including verbally communicating and presenting project information
Desire to learn and grow in your profession, demonstrate a positive attitude, strong work ethic, resourcefulness, flexibility, and ownership
Skilled in the use of AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and GIS software
Experience with soil, groundwater, and air (environmental regulations, environmental investigations, site characterization, remediation technologies, operation and maintenance, and construction)
Working knowledge of local regulatory frameworks pertinent to the work
Preferred
Master's degree in Environmental Engineering, or related field preferred
Task coordination and/or project management skills
Have CA professional registration PE/PG - or can get it within 12 months of hire
Design, construction, and operation, maintenance, and monitoring experience with environmental remediation projects
Association with professional organizations in field of specialty
OSHA 40-Hour HAZWOPER training and refresher updates
