Human Services Licensing Representative

NEOGOV is seeking a Human Services Licensing Representative to monitor compliance with state regulations and policies in the Department of Human Services. The role involves conducting inspections and investigations of personal care homes and assisted living residences to ensure the health and safety of residents, as well as reviewing documents and testifying in hearings regarding compliance findings.

Responsibilities

Conduct inspections of personal care homes and assisted living residences including physical site conditions, facility operations, staff records, resident records, and written policies and procedures to determine compliance with state laws and regulations related to the licensing of personal care homes and assisted living residences
Conduct complaint and incident investigations based on factors such as conditions, care, abuse, neglect, etc. of personal care homes and assisted living residences by interviewing administrators, staff members, residents, and others to obtain information on allegations
Write narrative violation reports/licensing inspection summaries related to regulatory compliance, licensing, and facility and operations monitoring

Required

Two years of professional experience gathering and analyzing information in a social service or law enforcement program, and a bachelor's degree; or an equivalent combination of experience and training
You must reside in or be willing to relocate to the Southwest Region, which includes Allegheny, Fayette, Greene, and Washington counties by the time of hire
You must meet the PA residency requirement
You must be able to perform essential job functions
