Responsibilities

Analyzing the implementation requirements of the Parole Board and court case actions
Researching, analyzing, and evaluating all violation hearing materials
Reviewing and prioritizing incoming correspondence
Providing office support by answering telephone inquiries
Sorting and prioritizing cases to ensure timely processing

Qualification

Analytical skillsCLEAN certificationInterpretation of sentencesClerical experienceCase information analysis

Required

One year as a Parole Staff Technician 1 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
Four years of clerical experience that included one year in the interpretation and analysis of sentences and case information of criminal offenders; or
An equivalent combination of experience and training that included one year in the interpretation and analysis of sentences and case information of criminal offenders
You must obtain Commonwealth Law Enforcement Assistance Network (CLEAN) certification within three months of employment and maintain this certification for the duration of employment in this job
You must meet the PA residency requirement
You must be able to perform essential job functions
You must pass a background investigation and meet Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) compliance requirements
