AustinWorks is a client-focused company that provides an affordable event management platform. They are seeking a Founding Recruiter to manage the full recruiting lifecycle, develop hiring strategies, and partner with leadership to build the company's team and culture.
Responsibilities
Source, engage, and hire top talent across multiple functions (fully outbound role)
Design a best-in-class candidate experience from first touch to offer
Build and amplify the employer brand through strategic channels
Partner with hiring managers on role scoping, job descriptions, and interview decisions
Improve hiring operations, tools, workflows, and analytics
Support early people operations, including onboarding, performance reviews, and culture initiatives
Qualification
Required
1-3+ years in recruiting or talent acquisition, ideally in high-growth startup or agency environments
Strong communication skills and ability to influence stakeholders
Passion for people, culture, and building from the ground up
Comfortable operating autonomously in a fast-paced startup setting
Preferred
Hands-on experience with ATS and sourcing tools (e.g., Ashby, Greenhouse, Gem)
Demonstrated success filling technical and non-technical roles
