Maintenance Repairman 2
Commonwealth of Pennsylvania is seeking a Maintenance Repairman 2 to oversee the upkeep of the Southwestern Veterans' Center facility. The role involves performing vital repairs and maintenance on buildings, grounds, and equipment to ensure a safe and functional environment for veterans, staff, and visitors.

Responsibilities
Repairing and installing doors, door frames, furniture, electric circuits, outlets, lighting fixtures, plumbing fixtures, sinks, water closets, fountains, lavatories, and related equipment
Maintaining and repairing heating lines and fan coil units
Performing masonry work on buildings, foundations, walkways, and walls
Repairing and installing locks on doors and furniture
Performing minor repairs on equipment such as wheel chairs, geriatric chairs, and beds
Maintaining the grounds by performing landscaping activities
Handling tasks such as snow removal using equipment such as plows, salt spreaders, snowblowers, and shovels
Qualification
Required
Two years of experience as a Maintenance Repairman 1 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration)
Four years of experience in building and plant maintenance work, which has involved at least two of the building, electrical, or mechanical trades
Any equivalent combination of experience and training that affords the applicant with the Required Knowledges, Skills, and Abilities
You must possess a valid Pennsylvania Class C Driver's License
You must be able to perform essential job functions
Preferred
Experience in the commercial carpentry trade
Experience in the electrical trade
Experience in the plumbing trade
Experience in the maintenance and repair of refrigeration and/or HVAC systems
Experience in commercial maintenance of buildings and equipment
Structural experience in the maintenance or repair of buildings
