The Utilities Research Analyst – Associate will support a Senior Research Analyst in analyzing companies and generating positive investment performance, focusing on approximately 30 companies in the utilities sector.

Responsibilities

Conduct a wide variety of research projects to aid in the investment process, including building financial models and industry frameworks as well as company/industry-specific ad hoc projects
Provide data and analysis to assist in the management of regional and global analyst funds

Qualification

Equity research experienceUtilities sector knowledgeAnalytical skillsFinancial modelingIntellectual curiosityInterest in investingVBA coding experience

Required

3+ years of relevant industry experience (equity research, investment banking)
3+ years of experience covering Utilities
Strong analytical skills, high aptitude for numbers; ability to identify trends through numerical analysis
Intellectual curiosity
Passion for and interest in investing

Preferred

Coding experience with VBA is preferred
