Research Associate II - Noble/Jiang Labs - Lung Institute
Cedars-Sinai is a leader in providing high-quality healthcare and research. The Research Associate II will support laboratory research projects focusing on lung inflammation and fibrosis, performing a variety of experimental protocols and assisting in general lab maintenance.

Responsibilities
May assist with animal husbandry
Maintains lab equipment and related records
Transports, processes, and logs samples
Maintains computer database with relevant clinical information
Performs lab maintenance duties, including glassware cleaning and sterilization
Maintains stocks of general lab materials, and places orders for equipment and supplies
Assists new students and fellows at the laboratory
Keeps accurate and detailed records of experiments and results, and assist in identifying and troubleshooting of unexpected results
Orders laboratory supplies and supports laboratory operations
Assists in the operation of specialized equipment, as required by the area of research
Orients research laboratory assistants or lower level research associates and undergraduate student researchers on day-to-day lab operations and routine procedures
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in a Science related field, required
One year of research laboratory experience is required
Working knowledge of database management, personal computers, and presentation and imaging software
Must possess digital literacy in Excel and Word
