Responsibilities

Overseeing the Gifted Education Program and implementation of the JAVITS Grant

Acting as the assistant for the administration of a complex federal JAVITS Grant program

Testing the eGrants system and resolving problems

Assisting in reimbursement calculations and preparing financial reports

Monitoring administrative cost centers

Analyzing data to determine outcomes related to the use of funds

Presenting clear and concise reports

Developing and updating federal budget procedures, budget forms, and instructions for completing budgets

Required

One year as a Financial Programs Trainee (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or

One year of experience in paraprofessional fiscal administration work, and a bachelor's degree in business administration, accounting, finance, economics, or a related field; or

An equivalent combination of experience and training

You must meet the PA residency requirement
