Lumsden McCormick CPA is offering an internship program for students interested in accounting. As an Audit Intern, you will work on real jobs, develop skills in accounting and auditing, and gain direct access to clients while being mentored by experienced staff.

Performs various accounting, auditing tasks, and tax practices to ensure accurate and reliable data and client satisfaction through high-quality service deliverables

Required

Junior standing (or above) in an accredited MS Accounting or MBA program with a concentration in Accounting

In the process of completing educational coursework that will meet the NYS 150-hour education requirement for Certified Public Accountant (CPA) PRIOR to full-time hire

Exceptional verbal and written communication skills

Excellent interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and strong organization skills

Ability to travel to client locations, predominantly Western New York clients

A willingness to work in a team environment
