The Insurance Account Manager is responsible for quoting renewals on assigned accounts, collaborating with producers to ensure proper placement of business, and maintaining communication with carriers for status updates on quotes.

Responsibilities

Goes through daily work file and picks up current coverages, premiums, and markets approached prior year

Give files to EVP for markets to be approached for the renewal

Updates all applications with the insured and obtains current insured information (i.e., ownership, location, type of operation, fleet, drivers)

Updates all applications for markets being approach

Sends out submissions with updated information to all markets; send out revisions if applicable

Follows-up with all carriers approached for status of quotes and forwards all requested info to underwriters

Obtains and logs in quotes

Gives file to EVP once all quotes/declinations are received
