Tulane University’s Department of Economics and National Center for Research on Education Access and Choice (REACH) is seeking a post-doctoral fellow with an interest in market-based school reform to conduct and publish original research. The role involves applied econometric research, managing the AEFP Live Handbook of Education Policy Research, and teaching undergraduate courses.

Responsibilities
Carrying out applied econometric research, leveraging extensive linked student-level linked datasets, the National Longitudinal School Database (NLSD), and other data sources
Acting as managing editor of the AEFP Live Handbook of Education Policy Research
Teaching one undergraduate course per year
Working on other projects, including dissertation publications and others unrelated to the work of the center
Qualification
Required
Ph.D. in Economics or a related field
Strong interest in market-based school reform
Experience with applied econometric research
Ability to leverage extensive linked student-level datasets
Experience with the National Longitudinal School Database (NLSD) or similar data sources
Experience in managing editorial tasks
Ability to teach undergraduate courses
Preferred
Experience in publishing original research
Experience in teaching at the undergraduate level
Familiarity with education policy research
