Provides accounting and clerical assistance to the accounting department
Preparing bank deposits, general ledger postings and statements
Accurate data entry
Preparing and maintaining accounting documents and records
Reconciliation of accounts
Provide assistance and support to company personnel
Inform management and compile reports
Research, track and restore accounting or documentation problems and discrepancies
Constantly update job knowledge
Special projects as assigned by the Controller
Qualification
Required
High School Degree required
Familiarity with bookkeeping and basic accounting procedures
Competency with using personal computers and Microsoft Software programs and all standard programs used by the industry required
Adaptable to change, able to work in a fast-paced environment; meet deadlines
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and projects
Exceptional organizational skills
Demonstrated accuracy and attention to detail
Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision and sound judgment skills
Preferred
Associate's degree in relevant certification is a plus
QuickBooks and NetSuite preferred
