Responsibilities

Performs duties as an AH-64E Armament/Electrical/Avionics systems repairer, inspects and performs aviation unit, intermediate and depot maintenance on the AH 64D/E Armament, Electrical and Avionics System
Assists in ensuring aircraft and equipment are maintained in a high state of mission readiness, include the Electrical, Electronic, Mechanical and Pneudraulics systems associated with AH-64E Armament / Missile fire control systems in accordance with applicable technical publications, applicable regulations, and company and local policies and procedures
Documentation of maintenance using forms and records in accordance with The Army Maintenance Management System - Aviation), applicable technical publications, regulations, and company / local SOP’s (Standard Operating Procedures)
Impart the knowledge of duties and responsibilities in such a manner (advice, support, and On the Job Training to customer trainees) to permit assimilation into the workforce; the final aim being to enable the customer's technicians to attain gradual full capacity to carry out self-sufficient aircraft armament / electrical repair capability
Carry out all assigned tasks from the immediate Supervisor in support of the maintenance team and unit operations

Required

Minimum High-School Diploma or equivalent
15Y - AH-64 Armament/Electrical/Avionics Systems Repairer MOS
A minimum of 8 years of overall aviation maintenance experience on the Apache platform
At least 2 years specifically on the AH-64E (V6) model
Hands-on experience in Avionics, Armament, Electrical Systems, and Aircraft Survivability Equipment (ASE) maintenance
Comprehensive knowledge and proficiency in utilizing standard tools, specialized equipment, test instruments, and aviation ground support equipment relevant to aircraft maintenance operations

Preferred

Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Aviation Maintenance or Aeronautical Engineering
FAA A&P (Airframe & Powerplant) License
Federal Communications Commission (FCC) license
