Alumni Donor Acquisition Specialist

The University of Michigan is seeking an Annual Giving Alumni Donor Acquisition Specialist to support their fundraising community. This role focuses on re-engaging alumni and creating strategies to solicit donations from non-donor alumni, while also developing reporting tools to assess acquisition efforts.

Responsibilities

Create, plan, and implement programming that identifies alumni non donors who have not made a gift to Michigan in at least the past six years
Solicit the non donors through mail, email, and digital channels for support to areas they may have an affinity for, and steward them in the hopes they become repeat donors
Help develop plans for donor engagement, pipeline development and solicitation improvement by working with teams and the community to help partners best leverage existing programming to increase new donor counts
Provide annual giving expertise, including regular, value-added analysis and program review
Develop reporting tools and presentations to identify acquisition opportunities, advocate for acquisition investment, and highlight the importance of acquiring new donors to the fundraising community

Required

Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and experience
One or more years of work experience in a professional environment with increasing levels of personal responsibility
Working knowledge of database software
Experience in a team environment
