Responsibilities
Assist in developing and implementing manufacturing process instructions (MPI)
Support the design and optimization of mechanical tooling and fixtures for PCBA assembly
Participate in process flow analysis to improve efficiency and manufacturability
Conduct basic Design for Manufacturability (DFM) assessments
Support failure analysis and troubleshooting under guidance from senior engineers
Assist document and update standard operating procedures (SOPs)
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including quality, test, and production
Participate in training sessions and hands-on learning in PCBA equipment and processes
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
0 + 2 years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial engineering environment
Knowledge of PCBA (Printed Circuit Board Assembly) or manufacturing processes
Foundational knowledge of mechanical engineering principles, with a strong interest in electronics manufacturing and PCBA processes
Eagerness to learn and support the development, implementation, and optimization of PCBA manufacturing processes
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to assist in root cause analysis and process troubleshooting
Basic proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and communicate technical information clearly
Detail-oriented, organized, and committed to following engineering standards and quality practices
Preferred
Associate's degree in a relevant technical discipline with equivalent hands-on experience in electrical or manufacturing engineering
Exposure to or interest in testing, debugging and the use of test equipment in production environment is a plus
Knowledge of using engineering lab tools or equipment
Familiarity with/or willingness to learn the PCBA equipment such as soldering machines, pick-and-place systems, and inspection tools (AOI, 5DX, ICT)
Bilingual in English and Mandarin is a plus
