Responsibilities

Assist with development and integration of backend services using Python

Collaborate with senior developers to implement, test, and maintain APIs and other integration solutions

Write clean, efficient, and reusable Python code, adhering to industry best practices

Help build automated tests and internal tools

Participate in code reviews, debugging, testing and documentation

Contribute to improving integration workflow and services

Required

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field

Basic knowledge of Python programming and understanding of its ecosystem and libraries

Basic knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) best practices

Willingness to learn and grow in a collaborative team setting

Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance

Preferred

Understanding of REST APIs and JSON

Experience with Fast API, Flask, or Django frameworks

Understanding of Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)

Knowledge of SQL or NoSQL databases

Basic understanding of CI/CD pipelines

Experience with tools like Postman or Swagger for API testing

Familiarity with Agile development practices (Scrum, Kanban)
