Human Resources Administrator
Four Seasons Environmental, Inc. is a facilities management firm seeking a Human Resources Administrator to provide essential administrative support to the HR department. The role involves managing employee-related tasks, advising management on policies, and ensuring compliance with labor laws.
Information Technology
Responsibilities
Supports the department in implementing various on-site HR programs
Provide on-site support to the HR department and management personnel
Collaborate with managers to identify and address employee relations issues
Assist with talent acquisition and recruiting activities
Manage new employee integration and facilitate new hire orientation to ensure new employees are provided with the tools and resources needed for success
Assists in payroll management, preparation and submission to ensure accurate and timely employee compensation
Monitor the evaluation of employees' job performances and provide recommendations
Managed employee leaves of absence, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and maintaining clear communication channels between employees and management
Handle all employee data management activities, maintaining accurate employee records utilizing an HRMS, ATS and other established HR databases
Ensure HR records are accurate and compliant with federal and state labor laws and company policies and confidentiality is maintained
Respond to employee inquiries, providing timely and accurate information
Manage open enrollment activities, which include creating a communication strategy, providing employee support and relevant educational materials
Manage off-boarding activities to include completing separation paperwork and notices, and conducting exit interviews to gather feedback on company culture and identify areas for improvement
Distribute memos and other HR-related communications to staff
Participate in HR projects and organize company events, training sessions, and workshops to enhance employee skills and ensure compliance
Collaborated with team members on various HR projects to improve departmental efficiency
Assists with annual compliance reports and logs
Assists in organizational training and workshops to enhance employee skills and maintain compliance
Daily clerical office duties such as answering phone calls, responding to emails, filing, record keeping, copying, faxing, posting, ordering supplies and other similar duties
Performs other related duties as required and assigned
Qualification
Required
Minimum of five (5) years of experience in human resources administration and support in multiple areas (i.e., training and development, employee integration, payroll administration, compensation, benefits, employee relations, and organizational development)
Experience working in diverse environments
Proven ability to lead and manage organizational changes
High School Diploma or equivalent
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to maintain a positive, respectful and collaborative approach with employees and clients
Excellent organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously while managing deadlines
Ability to demonstrate professionalism through reliability, integrity and a commitment to high-quality work
Strong analytical thinking and decision-making skills
Detail-oriented and a self-starter
Adept at grasping new concepts and retaining new information efficiently
Maintain a high level of accuracy when managing employee data, payroll, and compliance documents
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with the highest degree of discretion
Knowledge of the basics of labor laws, regulations, and HR policies
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience using HRMS and ATS software
General computer experience in cloud-based environments such as Box, Dropbox, ShareFile, and Office 365
Ability to operate most standard office equipment
General office functions and general payroll data entry
Employee may be subject to immunization and testing requirements pursuant to Client and current Company requirements
Employee must meet the requirements of the federal credentialing process to access the facility, which includes but is not limited to obtaining facility access (e.g., PIV card, Smart Card, access card, or badge) and meeting ongoing training and access requirements
Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds at times
Must be authorized to work in the US
Employment is contingent on passing a 10-panel pre-employment drug screen, random drug and alcohol screenings, and background/reference checks
