Executive Director - Commission on Judicial Conducts & Ethics
NEOGOV is seeking an Executive Director for the Wyoming Commission on Judicial Conduct & Ethics to lead and administer its constitutionally established work. The Executive Director will coordinate Commission activities, manage case materials, and serve as the primary contact for judges and public officials, ensuring the integrity of Wyoming’s judiciary.

Responsibilities
Direct all Commission activities and operations in compliance with Constitutional and Commission Rules
Serve as the primary administrative support to the Commission members
Oversee intake, review, and processing of judicial conduct complaints
Coordinate Investigatory, Adjudicatory, and Disciplinary Panel activities
Manage Commission subcommittees (e.g. education, rules, budget/legislative)
Draft and manage legal documents (orders, subpoenas, certificates of record)
Recruit, supervise, and support staff, temporary personnel, and disciplinary counsel
Develop and oversee the Commission’s biennium budget; process all fiscal activities, including payments and procurement through the Wyoming Financial System
Maintain accurate and confidential records and compile statistical reports
Provide information and procedural guidance to Commission members, complainants, judicial officers, and the public
Represent the Commission in public forums, education initiatives, and national organizations
Facilitate public education efforts through presentations, publications, and outreach
Qualification
Required
At least five years of professional work experience in the legal profession or related to the judicial system, with a clear understanding of the judicial system, particularly ethics, regulatory compliance, or investigative work
Bachelor's degree in any discipline or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience
Demonstrated leadership and organizational management experience, ideally within a public or legal institution
Strong written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to exercise discretion, impartiality, and confidentiality in sensitive matters
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ability to troubleshoot basic computer/website issues
Knowledge and experience in the legal profession and judicial system
Ability to apply court rules, statutes, and codes of conduct
Strong project management, personnel management, and resource management skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities
Strong customer service skills and the ability to work with distressed or difficult individuals
Knowledge of Wyoming state government operations, including budget and procurement processes
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in public administration or legal studies, or an equivalent combination of training and experience
Legal training and experience, including paralegal education or experience
Supervisory and project management experience
Experience in government administration
Public Manager Certificate or Master of Public Administration
