Responsibilities
Supervise and develop a team of maintenance technicians and contractors
Oversee daily maintenance activities for production equipment, building systems, and facility infrastructure
Implement and manage preventive maintenance programs to optimize equipment performance
Respond to equipment breakdowns, perform root-cause analysis, and coordinate repairs
Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation
Manage budgets for parts, tools, and vendor services
Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards (OSHA, EHS, GMP)
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency
Collaborate with production and engineering teams to align maintenance with business goals
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or GED required; technical degree or certifications preferred
5+ years of mechanical/electrical maintenance experience, including PLC systems; 2+ years in a supervisory role
Strong troubleshooting skills for mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
Familiarity with CMMS software and preventive maintenance strategies
Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills
Preferred
Technical degree or certifications
Knowledge of Lean, TPM, or Six Sigma methodologies is a plus
