Responsibilities
Manage mechanical construction projects from preconstruction through completion, ensuring all technical, financial, safety, and schedule objectives are achieved
Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned projects, maintaining strong relationships with clients in the pharma/life sciences and data center sectors
Develop and manage project budgets, cost forecasts, change orders, and cash flow; proactively identify and mitigate project risks
Lead and coordinate project engineers, superintendents, and field teams to ensure efficient execution and high-quality outcomes
Implement project management best practices, promote a strong safety culture, and ensure compliance with company policies and client standards
Work closely with estimating, fabrication, procurement, and field operations teams to ensure seamless project delivery
Provide regular project updates to internal leadership, highlighting progress, risks, and opportunities
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline
7–12+ years of experience in mechanical contracting with a focus on HVAC, plumbing, and piping systems
Proven experience managing projects in the $5M–$25M+ range (depending on PM or SPM level)
Experience delivering projects in pharmaceutical/life sciences and/or mission-critical data center environments
Strong understanding of project financials, cost control, and change management
Excellent communication and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders
Solid knowledge of safety, quality, and regulatory requirements in controlled environments
