Business Development Specialist
G4i Staffing Support Inc. is seeking an experienced Business Developer / Sales Professional with a strong background in government sector sales. The role focuses on engaging qualified leads, conducting outreach calls, and scheduling meetings between prospective clients and the CEO, requiring a motivated and organized communicator.
Responsibilities
Contact and follow up with leads provided by the lead generation team
Qualify prospects and assess alignment with company offerings
Schedule discovery and follow-up calls for the CEO
Maintain accurate records of outreach activity and lead status
Build and nurture relationships with government stakeholders and decision-makers
Support proposal and capture efforts as needed
Track performance metrics and contribute to revenue growth targets
Represent the company professionally in all communications and meetings
Qualification
Required
Minimum 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or capture support
Demonstrated experience working with government clients, agencies, or contracting environments
Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
Proven ability to manage leads, pipelines, and follow-up processes
Highly organized, proactive, and goal-oriented
Comfortable working independently in a remote environment
US-based and authorized to work in the United States
Preferred
Prior experience in federal contracting, GovCon, or public sector services
Familiarity with CRMs, prospecting tools, or pipeline management systems
Experience coordinating executive-level meetings or briefings
