Interim Payroll Consultant

Responsibilities

Manage and process multi-state payroll for exempt and non-exempt employees
Maintain and administer payroll within current and new system
Audit, validate, and reconcile payroll data to ensure accuracy and compliance
Troubleshoot payroll issues, investigate discrepancies, and communicate resolutions clearly
Support payroll reporting needs and partner closely with HR, Total Rewards, and HRIS team members
Assist with limited benefits administration tasks as capacity allows
Provide stability and continuity for payroll operations while core HR staff focus on other activities

Required

Strong background in payroll administration, with proven multi-state payroll experience
Ability to independently manage payroll cycles with high accuracy and attention to detail
Strong problem-solving skills and comfort investigating and resolving payroll issues
Experience supporting exempt and non-exempt populations
Highly organized, dependable, and able to maintain structure while the team navigates system changes

Preferred

Experience with HRIS systems preferred
