Responsibilities
Conduct fundamental analysis on high yield bonds and leveraged loans
Sector coverage: Energy
Provide well formulated investment recommendations to portfolio managers and the investment committee
Develop detailed financial models and analysis on credits within your coverage
When required conduct debt restructuring on distressed names
Collaborate with other analysts on credits outside your remit
Qualification
Required
3-5 years of experience covering US high yield bonds and leveraged loans
Must have experience covering Energy
Ability to build relationships with the street across investment banks, credit agencies etc
Excellent modelling skills and the ability to incorporate wider macro themes into your investment recommendations
Preferred
Buy side experience is preferred however open to candidates coming from a credit research desk or a leveraged finance background
