Communications Content Manager

Responsibilities

Manage communication publishing and delivery processes and serve as the subject matter expert for capabilities that exist within our technology systems
Participate in new site development and agile development activities, in addition to testing new features and functionality
Initiate and execute governance activities for communication content channels
Support special assignments, which may include crisis communications, training and development, project management, reporting, innovation and quality improvement, and presenting to the communications leadership team

Required

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
At least two to four years of experience working with web content
Comprehensive knowledge and experience working in a content management system
Applied knowledge of HTML coding language
Knowledge of web content accessibility standards and best practices
Knowledge of search engine optimization best practices
Knowledge of file formats (print, digital, video) and media usage rights terminology
Problem solving and analytical skills
Verbal and written communication skills
Basic skills with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
Basic skills with Adobe Photoshop
Intermediate skills with Microsoft Word and Outlook
Valid driver's license
Willingness to travel locally on day trips
Willingness to work nights, weekends, holidays, and extended hours as business needs require
Willingness to be on call 24/7 for crisis/emergency communications as business needs require

Preferred

Master's degree
Five to eight years of experience working with web content
Experience working in SharePoint
Knowledge of the Publix's digital communication channels and platforms
Knowledge of SAP and OpenText Content Center
Intermediate skills with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
Advanced skills with Microsoft Word
