Responsibilities
Develop and implement a national strategy to expand the High-Tech Division across data center, life sciences, semiconductor, and advanced manufacturing markets
Identify new markets, partnerships, and customer opportunities that align with corporate growth objectives
Partner with executive leadership to define long-term business priorities and competitive positioning
Support business development initiatives, executive client engagement, and major opportunity pursuits
Provide executive oversight of all division operations, including plumbing, process piping, mechanical systems, and mission-critical cooling infrastructure
Ensure the highest standards of technical quality, schedule performance, and safety across a multi-state project portfolio
Lead full P&L management for the High-Tech Division, including forecasting, margin performance, cost control, and risk management
Establish financial KPIs and performance expectations aligned with organizational objectives
Partner with estimating, procurement, and project management teams to ensure profitable outcomes on complex mechanical projects
Serve as the executive sponsor for key national accounts across mission-critical and high-tech sectors
Strengthen long-term relationships with hyperscale data center operators, biotech and life sciences clients, and advanced manufacturing OEMs
Ensure the division consistently delivers exceptional customer service and maintains best-in-class performance
Qualification
Required
Minimum 15 years of progressive leadership experience in mechanical contracting, MEP operations, process piping, or industrial mechanical environments
Proven track record managing large-scale mechanical projects within data centers, life sciences, or high-tech manufacturing sectors
Demonstrated success overseeing regional or national operations with full P&L responsibility
Strong technical knowledge of mechanical systems, hydronics, process piping, and cooling solutions used in mission-critical facilities
Executive-level leadership, communication, and team-building capabilities
Willingness to travel frequently to project sites and regional offices nationwide
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
Experience working directly with hyperscale data center developers, semiconductor manufacturers, biotech organizations, or EV/battery OEMs
Background in scaling a division or business unit through high-growth cycles
