They are seeking a Maintenance Mechanic 1 to provide maintenance support to plant equipment and systems, performing a variety of tasks including troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance.

Responsibilities

Perform general facility equipment maintenance on a daily basis, according the Maintenance schedule, for mechanical/electrical equipment

Perform general facility equipment basic troubleshooting and repairs on a daily basis, as needed, for mechanical equipment

Perform any emergency repair activity assigned by the Maintenance Planner or the Maintenance Supervisor

Perform equipment calibrations

Stay overtime to support emergency repairs or complete a scheduled assigned task

Provides off-shift plant support as part of the on-call maintenance rotation schedule within six months of starting the position

Develop and execute minor mechanical or electrical projects

Create work orders using the Computerized Maintenance Management System

Use historical knowledge and data as the basis for sound decision making

Support the Maintenance Planner to maintain all PM records for compliance with state and federal permits and regulations

Participate in other work groups as requested
