Responsibilities

Partner with clients to assess technology needs and challenges, delivering tailored solutions aligned with business objectives
Design, implement, and support advanced technology solutions with a strong focus on Microsoft platforms
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to:
LAN/WAN networking and internet performance
Firewalls, VPNs, and network security
Servers and core infrastructure
Wireless networks
VoIP and connectivity
Analyze existing systems and processes to identify opportunities for optimization and improvement
Stay current with emerging technologies and industry best practices, providing strategic insights to clients
Maintain clear and accurate technical documentation, including system configurations and project-related materials
Support and mentor team members while assisting with escalated or overflow technical tickets

Required

Proven expertise in LAN/WAN networking, including the design, implementation, and troubleshooting of routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs within MSP environments
Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft technologies, including Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, and Microsoft 365 / Azure platforms
Advanced network troubleshooting capabilities, including protocol analysis, incident management, and performance optimization in client-facing roles
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field; industry certifications are a plus
Demonstrated experience in a Technology Consultant or similar role, ideally within a Managed Services environment
Strong understanding of modern IT infrastructure trends and best practices
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to operate effectively in complex, real-world scenarios
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
Ability to manage multiple small-to-medium engagements simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail
Collaborative, team-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently in the field
