Director of Business Development
EVONA is a rapidly scaling space technology company seeking a Director of Business Development and Sales to lead commercial growth across satellite operators, manufacturers, and primes. The role involves building new relationships, driving enterprise sales cycles, and shaping go-to-market strategies in a high growth environment.
Responsibilities
Lead new business acquisition across the commercial space ecosystem
Build and manage a strong outbound pipeline through prospecting, networking, and targeted outreach
Drive full cycle enterprise deals from first conversation to contract close
Partner with Product, Customer Success, and technical teams to align customer needs with product capability
Execute and refine GTM playbooks and messaging
Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and customer meetings
Qualification
Required
5+ years of business development and sales experience within the space industry
Strong understanding and network in the commercial space market (satellite operators, manufacturers, integrators)
Experience closing complex, multi stakeholder deals
Ability to build high value relationships and influence executive and technical audiences
Comfortable working in a fast paced, high growth environment
Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field
Preferred
Colorado preferred (open to major US hubs including LA, DC, and Seattle)
