The role involves assisting with the new ASC 842 standard and lease accounting month-end close activities, as well as providing financial analysis and serving as a trusted business partner to leadership.

Responsibilities

Assist with the new ASC 842 standard and lease accounting month-end close activities

Month-end close reconciliation and analysis for rent

Evaluate the impact of new and/or modified lease contracts

Perform ad hoc projects and financial reporting

Partner with team to create Company’s capital versus operating treatment on leases

Responsible for documentation of the Company’s assessment of leases for capital vs operating treatment

Provide financial analysis to operations

Serve as a trusted business partner to leadership and accounting group

Required

Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance

Experience working with ASC 842

Minimum of 3-5 years total experience and 3 years working directly with lease accounting
