ServiceNow Architect - ITOM
Alldus is seeking an experienced ServiceNow Architect to lead a major ITOM implementation for a large financial services organisation. This role will act as the ITOM Subject Matter Expert, owning architecture, design, and technical direction across the ServiceNow platform, focusing on Discovery, Service Mapping, CMDB, and Event Management.

Responsibilities
Act as the ServiceNow ITOM Architect and SME across the programme
Define and own the end-to-end ITOM architecture, including:
Discovery
Service Mapping
CMDB & CSDM alignment
Event Management (including integrations with monitoring tools)
Lead platform and solution design, ensuring best practice and out-of-the-box optimisation
Oversee and guide technical teams on configuration, development, and integrations
Drive CMDB governance, data quality, and lifecycle management
Ensure alignment with CSDM, ITIL, and enterprise architecture standards
Collaborate with security, risk, and compliance teams to meet financial services regulatory requirements
Provide technical leadership during workshops, design reviews, and stakeholder sessions
Support testing, cutover, and post-go-live optimisation
Qualification
Required
Proven experience as a ServiceNow Architect on large-scale implementations
Deep hands-on expertise in ServiceNow ITOM, including: Discovery, Service Mapping, CMDB (CSDM 4.x preferred), Event Management
Strong understanding of infrastructure, cloud, and application architectures
Experience integrating ServiceNow with enterprise monitoring and tooling ecosystems
Solid knowledge of ITIL processes and service management best practices
Prior experience working within financial services or highly regulated environments
Ability to operate at both strategic and hands-on technical levels
Preferred
ServiceNow certifications (e.g. CIS - ITOM, CIS - Discovery, CIS - Event Management....)
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
Knowledge of DevOps and AIOps within ServiceNow
Previous contract roles in banking, insurance, or investment firms
