Responsibilities

Develop, modify, apply and maintain quality evaluation and control systems for incoming material, inventory pulls and metrology inspections

Create, implement and document methods and procedures for inspecting, testing and evaluating the precision and accuracy of material

Design and assess inspection and testing processes, mechanisms and equipment, and conduct quality assurance tests

Use lean and six-sigma quality methodologies and utilize quality tools to help drive continuous improvement

Create formal audit reports and provide summary updates to the department manager

Required

Typically requires a Bachelor's Degree in an engineering or technical discipline with at least two years of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience in lieu of degree

Solid understanding of Quality Assurance / Quality Control fundamentals and concepts

Experience operating within ISO 9001 standards

Experience using standard and industry related software including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and database applications such as Oracle or TipQA

Highly effective written and verbal communication skills

Able to guide / mentor others

Experience creating and documenting inspection criteria
