ACES is a company focused on executing physical natural gas transactions to support client gas generation assets. The Senior Natural Gas Trader will be responsible for procuring and scheduling natural gas, managing gas imbalances, and developing relationships with trade counterparties.

Responsibilities

Daily implementation of physical gas procurement and scheduling

Work within ACES for an integrated management of client wholesale energy portfolio positions

Manage daily positions and transactions within risk limits and authority matrix

Manage gas imbalances with the pipelines and within predetermined limits

Develop and maintain relationships with gas and fuels trade counterparties

Develop appropriate data, market intelligence and analysis to advise clients and ACES

Attend client meetings and conference calls as required

Provide after-hours, weekends and holiday coverage as required in addition to the normal daily work schedule

Ability to travel

Adheres to and is supportive of all ACES corporate policies and complies with all regulatory requirements including but not limited to NERC, FERC and relevant state regulations as applicable to the position
