Responsibilities

Provide process engineering support for all production processes

Collect and analyze operational data to drive process improvement

Monitor and manage processes to optimize productivity and cost control

Ensure baseline data integrity and report on improvement trends

Manage process improvement projects from scoping to validation

Collaborate with engineering and technical functions for capital projects and process improvements

Track, analyze, and suggest improvements for plant productivity data (e.g., tons/hour, chemical usage)

Develop and maintain processes for scheduling and prioritizing activities

Ensure adherence to Environmental, Health, and Safety regulations

Required

BS in Chemical or Materials Science Engineering

Minimum 3 years of experience in daily plant operations, project development, and statistical modeling

Knowledge of continuous systematic processing, ideally in mineral processing equipment and methods

Ability to process, transfer, and act on analytical and environmental sampling data

Proficiency in producing block flow diagrams, process flow diagrams, and P&ID

Strong interpersonal skills for interacting with all levels of employees and external parties

Competency in Google suite of products

Good problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
