Education
Responsibilities
Teach or Assist Lego Robotics, Minecraft, 3D Printing and coding camps
Training – go through the curriculum and learn it
Create a positive and safe environment in which students can grow and learn
Set up and maintain equipment - laptops, Mice, Minecraft, and/or other equipment
Demonstrate leadership and management skills by guiding student projects and activities
Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff
Qualification
Required
Available every weekday from June 9th-July 25th between 8 am and 5pm
College Student/Graduate majoring in Engineering, Computer Science, Graphic or Visual Arts, Video Game Design or Education
Excellent Communication Skills
Experience with Elementary age children
You will be required to complete a local and national background check
Be very comfortable with technology and using computers
Able to lift equipment totes weighing up to 40 pounds
You must be very punctual and reliable
Be organized and efficient to run an effective class
You need to be able to work independently and communicate via email and phone with us regularly
Patient, positive personality
Preferred
Knowledge of Legos, Minecraft, Programming, or Robotics experience
Background in tutoring/coaching kids
