Account Executive (Cybersecurity)

Responsibilities

Own Full Sales Cycle
Manage deals from discovery → technical validation → security review → legal → close
Navigate complex enterprise buying committees (CISO, IAM, IT, Compliance, Procurement)
Maintain momentum and prevent deal stagnation
Build and manage a healthy pipeline (3–4× quota coverage)
Maintain accurate CRM data and forecasts
Provide clear weekly deal updates and risk assessments
Lead discovery conversations (not just demos)
Position SecurEnds against competitors
Coordinate POCs, pilots, and evaluations with sales engineering
Identify and drive expansions:
UAR → full IGA
IGA → Non-Human Identity / API Security
Add-on modules and support
Partner closely with Customer Success on renewals and expansions
Own expansions that require new budget or SKUs
Respond quickly and effectively to inbound demo requests
Qualify inbound interest into real pipeline and revenue
Convert marketing and event-driven interest into closed deals
Provide feedback on:
Competitive dynamics
Pricing sensitivity
Feature gaps
Buyer objections
Influence roadmap, packaging, and messaging

Required

5–10+ years of B2B SaaS sales experience
Proven success closing $50K–$500K+ ARR deals
Experience selling to enterprises and/or regulated industries
Experience selling to security, IAM, GRC, or compliance buyers
Strong deal management and negotiation skills
Comfortable working in a founder-led, fast-moving environment

Preferred

Experience selling Identity Governance (IGA)
Experience selling IAM / PAM / Security platforms
Experience selling compliance or GRC software
Familiarity with enterprise procurement and security reviews
Background in selling platform solutions vs point products
