Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain scalable REST APIs using Ruby on Rails
Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following industry best practices
Design and optimize database schemas and implement effective design patterns
Develop and maintain background jobs and system integrations
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, QA, and DevOps
Follow best practices such as TDD, CI/CD, Agile/SCRUM, refactoring, and coding standards
Continuously evaluate and adopt new technologies to improve application performance and scalability

Required

Master's degree
2+ years of experience as a Ruby on Rails Developer
Strong working knowledge of Ruby, Ruby on Rails, RDBMS, and OOP concepts

Experience with front-end technologies such as JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and jQuery
Good understanding of object-oriented analysis and design principles
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
Candidates must have U.S. work authorization
