Responsibilities

Prepare monthly financial statements, journal entries, and reconciliations for assigned properties
Ensure timely and accurate invoice processing and payments
Post journal entries in accordance with GAAP and other accounting standards
Monitor escrow funding and ensure compliance for assigned properties
Provide accounting support to property and regional managers
Support other accountants and contribute to special projects as needed

Required

Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)
Proficiency with Excel and modern accounting software
Expertise in accounting and bookkeeping
Proficiency in general ledger management
Strong reconciliation skills
Experience in preparing journal entries
Knowledge of accounts payable and accounts receivable

Preferred

Experience with property management/accounting systems (Yardi, MRI, RealPage)
Familiarity with escrow accounting and compliance requirements
