RESEARCH STATISTICIAN I - PERMANENT PART-TIME - DOWNTOWN, OAHU
The State of Hawaiʻi is seeking a Research Statistician I to join the Department of Business, Economic Development & Tourism. This role involves applying research and statistical methods to analyze socio-economic data and assist in various research projects.

Responsibilities
Apply research and statistical methods and techniques to the analysis of socio-economic data
Solve problems in the applied sciences such as engineering
Publish survey data in fields such as agriculture and labor
Engage in intensive research projects in fields such as health and economics
Serve as a trainee in on-the-job formal training to learn the theories, techniques and methods used in research and statistical analysis
Perform other duties as required
Qualification
Required
A bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university, which included three (3) semester credit hours in statistics
