Coordinating all internal and external communications and outreach efforts specific to the Office of Aeronautics

Leading the development and implementation of a comprehensive Aeronautics Strategic Communications Plan

Serving as the primary liaison for communications with internal and external partners, including MnDOT divisions, other state agencies, the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), airport sponsors and staff, consultants, aviation stakeholders, and the public

Required

Two years of advanced professional communications experience demonstrating:

Experience in developing and managing strategic communications plans and outreach initiatives

Experience in creating and implementing digital media campaigns, including managing social media platforms and maintaining accessibility standards (e.g., ADA compliance)

Experience interpreting and communicating complex regulatory requirements across multiple communication media platforms

A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Communications, Journalism or a closely related field substitutes for six months of advanced professional communications experience
