Responsibilities

Partner with plant teams to plan, assess, and accelerate site readiness for automation projects
Lead and execute comprehensive readiness assessments covering lean maturity, digital systems, infrastructure, and workforce capability
Deliver targeted on-site coaching and knowledge transfer to build local ownership and capability
Support standardization of processes and practices necessary for automation enablement
Collaborate with and coach plant leadership, IT/OT teams, and facilities to coordinate upgrades and close gaps in digital or physical infrastructure
Track site progress, risks, and outcomes, reporting regularly to the Director, Automation Enablement
Develop and share best practices, tools, and templates for readiness and enablement activities
Support workforce training and engagement initiatives to build a culture of automation and continuous improvement
Foster collaboration and strong working relationships across cross-functional teams

Required

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, or related field
5+ years of experience in industrial transformation, lean operations, automation deployment, or plant engineering
Expert in conducting operational assessments and implementing process improvements
Strong collaboration and stakeholder engagement skills; ability to work effectively across diverse plant teams and technical disciplines
Proven expertise and ability to influence process standardization, training, and infrastructure upgrades
Excellent communication, coaching, and problem-solving skills
Willingness to travel to sites as needed

Preferred

10+ years of experience in industrial transformation, lean operations, automation deployment, or plant engineering
Master's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, or related field
Experience deploying automation or digital solutions in manufacturing or energy environments
Formal lean/six sigma certification or advanced training
Experience as a change agent in industrial settings
Ability to translate strategy into tactical execution in complex plant environments
Passion for developing workforce capability and building high-performing teams
