Responsibilities
Leading the architecture and technical roadmap for multiple mobile apps supporting both homeowners and HVAC professionals
Designing and building foundational systems - component libraries, design systems, networking, state management, telemetry - to support rapid iteration and long-term scalability
Collaborating closely with Product, Design, and Backend Engineering to ship polished, high-performance features across iOS and Android
Driving best practices for code quality, testing, release cadence, CI/CD, and developer experience
Mentoring and growing a small but high-impact mobile engineering team
Integrating mobile apps with an AI-driven sensor platform that translates HVAC system data into predictive maintenance insights
Working with design partners to create experiences that are intuitive, reliable, and delightful for both homeowners and contractors
Qualification
Required
8+ years of mobile development experience, with at least one 0 → 1 → scale mobile product shipped
Deep proficiency in React Native, Swift, or Kotlin, and strong architectural judgment
Experience building modular codebases, shared libraries, and robust CI/CD for mobile
Strong UX instincts and the ability to collaborate effectively with world-class designers
Background integrating mobile apps with distributed backend systems and real-time APIs
Comfort working with AI- and data-driven platforms
A hands-on engineer who enjoys building elegant, reliable products
Excellent communication skills across engineering, design, and product stakeholders
