EVONA is a fast growing space software company seeking a Director of Commercial Sales and Business Development to drive enterprise growth across the commercial space sector. The role involves hands-on business development, building partnerships, and leading sales efforts in the satellite operations market.
Responsibilities
Own new business development across commercial space markets
Build strong relationships with satellite operators, component manufacturers, mission owners, and integrators
Develop pipeline, outbound strategy, and forecasting processes
Lead complex enterprise sales cycles and collaborate with technical teams to support solution design
Refine messaging, positioning, and customer outreach frameworks
Attend events, demos, and customer meetings to help build market presence
Qualification
Required
At least 5 years of commercial or enterprise sales experience within aerospace
Confident leading full cycle sales including outbound outreach and deal negotiation
Strong understanding of commercial space pain points, mission lifecycles, and technical environments
Able to influence both executive and engineering stakeholders
Thrive in startup or high growth settings
Strong communicator who enjoys working cross functionally
