Responsibilities

Developing front-end website architecture
Designing user interactions on web pages
Developing back-end website applications
Creating servers and databases for functionality
Ensuring the responsiveness of applications
Seeing through a project from conception to finished product
Designing and developing APIs
Meeting both technical and customer needs
Staying abreast of developments in web applications and programming languages

Qualification

Required

Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
Strong working knowledge of Agile development methodologies
Extensive experience with software design and development in a test-driven environment
Extensive knowledge of coding languages (e.g., ASP.NET / C#, JavaScript) and frameworks/systems (e.g., jQuery, Git)
Familiarity with relational databases such as SQL and MySQL
Familiarity with NoSQL datastores such as DynamoDB and Elasticsearch
Familiarity with cloud computing environments such as AWS/Azure
Strong oral and written communication skills
Flexibility in changing priorities
Comfortable with being independent
Ability to work with peers in a team situation
Ability to collaborate and facilitate relationships with the team
Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite
Results-driven
Critical thinking skills
