Responsibilities

Establishing and coordinating all accounting procedures for multiple business unit
Performing month end close duties, including accruals, reconciliations, and significant variance analysis to plan/forecast
Maintenance of the bank reconciliations for multi-site, multi-currency subsidiaries
Enhance, maintain, and align with a system of internal controls
Assist with monthly financial reporting package preparation for Senior Management
Assist with the maintenance of a documented system of accounting policies and procedures
Collaborative Interaction with management and other department leaders
Handle the accounting operations of subsidiary corporations, especially their control systems, transaction-processing operations, and policies and procedures
Assist with management of third-party service providers
Manage Bank reconciliations for multi-site / multi-currency subsidiaries
Calculate, verify, and post Payroll journals for muti-site/ multi-currency subsidiaries
Perform Month end close transactions and reconciliations
Calculation and posting of Revenue/Cost accruals
Calculation and posting monthly loan journals
Perform lease accounting under ASC 842
Maintain the chart of accounts on an orderly accounting filing system
Provide accounting support to non-finance business partners
Support a system of controls over accounting transactions
Monitor account payable and account receivable data for accuracy and perform accruals as required
Assist with coordinating the flow of information with external auditors for the annual audit
Assist with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings

Required

Bachelor's degree in accounting or another similar major
At least 3 years of accounting experience
Strong working knowledge of ASC 606 and ASC 842 standards
Proficiency in MS Excel
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Preferred

Knowledge in the service industry would be preferred but not required
Experience with Workday is preferred
