Responsibilities
Lead and support design of water and wastewater treatment facilities, including process components, pumping systems, storage, and conveyance infrastructure
Develop engineering calculations, process design layouts, P&IDs, site plans, and detailed design drawings
Produce technical reports, basis of design documents, and construction specifications
Manage project scopes, budgets, and schedules to ensure efficient, high-quality delivery
Coordinate with structural, civil, mechanical, and electrical disciplines throughout the design process
Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers working on modeling, drafting, and plan production
Attend project progress and review meetings with clients, utility owners, and regulatory agencies
Qualification
Required
Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in Texas
6+ years of experience designing water or wastewater treatment facilities and/or related infrastructure
Familiarity with local municipal and county design criteria (Houston/Harris County preferred)
Strong communication, coordination, and documentation skills
Valid driver's license
Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, Mechanical, or related Engineering discipline
