Responsibilities

Collaborate with cross-functional teams within client and external partners to support drug product technology transfers
Develop content for technical team including risk mitigation plans, procedures, risk assessment and process models
Contribute to authoring, review and execution of protocols for characterization, tech transfer and validation of drug product operations
Facilitate evaluation process changes, coordinating with change owners, suppliers and development teams to generate required data
Author project charters including definition of high-level timelines and budget needs by consulting with project team, SMEs, and other stakeholders as necessary
Define and manage detailed project schedule including routine communication of progress, risks, and issues
Manages project/program activities including kick-off meetings, recurring status meetings, reporting, risk tracking, and conflict resolution
Manage risks and issues, including leading creation of mitigation plan and/or escalation as required
Coordinates logistics for complex document approval and test results approval
Develop and deliver stakeholder communications including regular project status updates
Manage project change control for changes in scope and timeline
Develop and implement tools to streamline project communication and status evaluation
Work creatively and analytically to solve problems demonstrating teamwork and innovation
Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, presentations, and risk assessments
Lead process improvements within the Technical Operations team applying lessons learned, best practices, and innovations to mature project management processes, tools, and methodologies

Required

Bachelors degree in Biology, Engineering, science or technical discipline
2+ years of experience in Cell therapy of Biopharmaceutical operations
2+ years experience in project/program management of complex projects involving cross-functional teams
Minimum 5 years of professional experience
Demonstrated knowledge of, and competency in, project management processes, including planning, resource planning and allocation, and risk and issue management
Basic understanding of cell culture, cryopreservation, purification, and aseptic processing or lab technique
Knowledge of cGMP/FDA regulated industry
Technical writing capability
Experience successfully supporting biotechnology/cell therapy projects and/or programs
Leadership, diplomatic and motivational skills including the ability to work and drive issues to resolution cooperatively in a diverse group
Knowledge of applications such as Microsoft Office Suite, Smartsheet, Microsoft Project or similar project management software, etc
Ability to travel up to 20% within US

Preferred

Experience in SDLC Methodologies, Agile, SCRUM, SDLC/Waterfall preferred
Project management certification or designation desired
PMP certification highly desirable
