Responsibilities
Proactively manage and maintain the HPE Simplivity, Broadcom (VMware), and HPE Aruba network switch environment. This includes regular firmware, patches, updates, and upgrades
Plan and execute major version upgrades for the Broadcom (VMware) and HPE Simplivity environments, ensuring adherence to manufacturer-specific upgrade paths and best practices
Provide ongoing support for the virtual machines running in the environment, including troubleshooting and performance optimization
Implement monitoring solutions to track the health and performance of all infrastructure components and provide monthly reports to the city’s IT staff
Qualification
Required
HPE Product Certified – SimpliVity (must hold current certification)
HPE Master ASE (equivalent expert-level certification)
Minimum of five (5) years of experience providing this service
Certified HPE Enterprise Partner or higher
Proactively manage and maintain the HPE Simplivity, Broadcom (VMware), and HPE Aruba network switch environment
Regular firmware, patches, updates, and upgrades
Plan and execute major version upgrades for the Broadcom (VMware) and HPE Simplivity environments
Ensure adherence to manufacturer-specific upgrade paths and best practices
