Responsibilities

Assist in the collaboration between engineers and technicians in testing of prototypes and current products

Assist engineers and senior technicians in the disassembly of complex parts and prepare for testing/analysis

Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety procedures during all aspects of job performance which includes regular exposure to personal and physical hazards

Responsible for operating machine shop and laboratory equipment, as well as preventative maintenance

Assist senior technicians with maintaining laboratory stockroom materials and supplies

Communicate effectively with others to understand and execute on given directions and instructions

Required

Technical Diploma or equivalent*

Ability to travel 10%

Associate's degree

Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, government regulations and procedure manuals

Ability to adapt to a fast pace environment

Detail oriented
